Terms of Use (EULA)

By accessing or using Home Plate, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not access or use the service. If you use Home Plate for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms on its behalf.

The Home Plate iOS app is licensed, not sold. Your license to use the iOS app is governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), which is incorporated into these terms by reference. These Home Plate terms also govern the accounts, content, subscriptions, and services you access through the app. If these terms conflict with Apple's Standard EULA regarding the license to the iOS app, Apple's Standard EULA controls.

You must be legally able to enter into an agreement to create an account. Accounts for minors must be created, authorized, or managed by a parent, legal guardian, or responsible organization. You are responsible for accurate account information, protecting your credentials, and activity under your account.

Home Plate is a multi-organization platform. Organizations manage their own members, roles, permissions, settings, and content. A user may belong to multiple organizations and may have different permissions in each.

Organization administrators are responsible for their organization's use of Home Plate, the information they enter or import, the permissions they grant, and the consents required for their activities. Player and parent access is limited by the relationships and permissions established by the responsible organization.

Home Plate grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to access the service for its intended baseball organization and player-development purposes, subject to these terms and, for the iOS app, Apple's Standard EULA.

You may not access another organization's data without authorization; disrupt or bypass the service's security; upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful material; harass others; misuse personal information; or use Home Plate in violation of law.

Individual and family digital access offered in the Home Plate iOS app is purchased through Apple In-App Purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. An auto-renewable subscription renews automatically unless it is canceled before the end of the current billing period.

You can manage or cancel an Apple subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Apple processes App Store subscription payments and refund requests under Apple's applicable terms and policies. Deleting the app or your Home Plate account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription.

Baseball organizations, facilities, academies, and other eligible entities may buy access for their members under a separate organization agreement. Organization- sponsored access is not an individual consumer subscription.

Participating organizations may also use Home Plate to collect payments for real-world baseball goods and services, such as lessons, camps, registrations, uniforms, and facility bookings. Those purchases are separate from Home Plate digital access. The selling organization is responsible for its prices, fulfillment, refund policy, taxes, and customer relationship unless stated otherwise.

You retain ownership of content you submit to Home Plate. You grant Home Plate a limited license to host, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit that content.

Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Home Plate Privacy Policy. Organizations may separately be responsible for information they control in their Home Plate environments.

Home Plate may rely on or link to third-party services, including Apple, payment processors, authentication providers, and infrastructure providers. Your use of those services is also subject to their applicable terms. Home Plate is not responsible for third-party services outside its control.

Training programs, schedules, testing data, analytics, and related content are for informational and organizational purposes. Home Plate does not provide medical, legal, tax, or accounting advice. Physical training and sports participation carry inherent risks; players, parents, guardians, coaches, and organizations must use appropriate judgment and consult qualified professionals when needed.

Home Plate and its licensors own the service, software, designs, trademarks, and other platform materials, excluding user and organization content. Except for the limited rights expressly granted by these terms and Apple's Standard EULA, no rights are transferred to you.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Home Plate is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, permanent availability of any feature, or the accuracy of information entered by users or organizations.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Home Plate will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, or data arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address a violation of these terms, unlawful activity, nonpayment, fraud, security risk, or harm to the service or its users. You may stop using Home Plate and request account deletion at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

We may update Home Plate and these terms as the service evolves. We will post the current terms here and update the effective date. When required, we will provide additional notice. Continued use after revised terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any mandatory consumer protections or legal rights available in your place of residence remain unaffected.
