Terms of Service

You must be able to form a binding agreement to create an account. Accounts for minors are intended to be created or authorized by a parent, guardian, or the responsible organization.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for activity that occurs under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

Home Plate is a multi-organization platform. Each organization operates its own environment with its own members, roles, and permissions. A user may belong to multiple organizations with different roles in each.

Organization administrators are responsible for managing their organization's members, permissions, settings, content, and compliance with these terms.

Player and parent accounts access organization content according to the relationships and permissions established by the organization.

You agree not to misuse the platform — including attempting to access other organizations' data, interfering with the service, uploading unlawful content, harassing other users, or using the platform for purposes unrelated to baseball business and player development operations.

Organizations may pay Home Plate for software access through recurring subscriptions. Player access may be billed through organization licensing, platform subscriptions, sponsored access, or Apple In-App Purchase depending on configuration.

Organization customer transactions. Participating organizations may use platform tools to request payments from their own customers for real-world baseball goods and services. Independent organizations are responsible for the services, programs, registrations, uniforms, lessons, camps, and other items they sell through the platform — including pricing, fulfillment, refund policies, taxes, and customer relationships — unless otherwise stated.

Refunds. Refunds for organization customer transactions are governed by the selling organization's policies. Refunds for software subscriptions are governed by the applicable subscription terms or app store policies.

The platform relies on third-party services such as payment processors, app store providers, and infrastructure providers. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and policies.

Organizations and users retain their rights to the content they upload. By uploading content, you grant Home Plate the license needed to host, display, and process it in order to provide the service.

Training programs, testing data, analysis, and related content on the platform are provided for informational and organizational purposes. Home Plate does not provide professional coaching, medical, legal, tax, or accounting advice. Consult qualified professionals for those needs. Physical training carries inherent risk; players and guardians are responsible for exercising appropriate judgment.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms, unlawful activity, or risk to the platform or other users. You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time.

The Home Plate platform, brand, and software are the property of Home Plate and its licensors. These terms do not grant you rights to use our branding or software beyond normal use of the service.

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Home Plate will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data arising from your use of the platform.

You agree to indemnify and hold Home Plate harmless from claims arising out of your use of the platform, your content, your organization's transactions with its customers, or your violation of these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction — to be determined], without regard to conflict of law principles.

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or by email. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
